SΛTIS welcomes Milan Petrović: a research stay uncovered shared interests in social network analysis.
The SΛTIS Lab recently had the pleasure of hosting Milan Petrović from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies for a research stay.
During his visit, Milan presented his research to the whole lab, giving us insight into the work he is pursuing as part of his PhD. He also worked closely with Tomáš Lintner on a joint publication that draws on social network analysis (SNA) — a shared research interest that opened up valuable common ground.
We are looking forward to building on this exchange and continuing this collaboration in the future.
The SΛTIS Lab recently met with the BOLD Lab to introduce its research and approach to social data science, and to explore shared interests between the two groups. Common themes emerged around topics such as reducing educational inequalities and the effectiveness of teaching — promising ground for future collaboration.
