SΛTIS meets BOLD: a joint session uncovered shared interests in educational inequalities and teaching effectiveness.
The SΛTIS Lab recently had the pleasure of meeting with the BOLD Lab for a joint session focused on building closer ties between the two groups.
During the meeting, SΛTIS introduced its research focus and its broader approach to social data science — combining computational tools, advanced statistical modeling, and a theoretical grounding in the social sciences. The conversation then turned to identifying common ground between the two labs, with shared interests emerging around topics such as reducing educational inequalities and the effectiveness of teaching.
We are looking forward to building on this exchange and exploring concrete avenues for future collaboration.
